Decisions For Success
At the moment I’m reading Think And Grow Rich – by Napoleon Hill. A game changer for any business minded, entrepreneurial, tenacious individual reaching for something better.
I was on the northern line train going to a meeting whilst reading this and knew that I just had to share it with you for PASSION and inspiration.
Those who reach decisions promptly and definitely, know what they want, and generally get it. The leaders in every walk of life decide quickly, and firmly. That is the major reason why they are leader. The world has the habit of making room for the man whose words and actions show that he knows where he is going…
…The habit of decisions acquired because of the deficiencies of our school systems, goes with the students into the occupation he chooses…If...in fact, he chooses his occupation. Generally, the youth just out of school seeks any job that can be found. He takes the first place he finds, because he has fallen into the habit of decisions. Ninety-wight out of every hundred people working for wages today, are in the positions they hold, because they lacked the definiteness of decision to Plan a definite position, and the knowledge of how to choose an employer.

When I read this my decision hat came on. No more faffing around, its game time. Our life is our life and every minute of it is precious. Yes you have a plan and a dream, what are you doing to achieve that?
There’s a million and one things that I want to achieve in this world, but first of all (I want you to say this with me): I know the woman (man) that I am and the potential I hold, and with that unlocks a whole universe of opportunities…and if there isn’t exactly what I want out there, then I will create an opportunity perfect for me.
We are so lucky to have YouTube and Google at our fingertips, decide what your passion or your goal is, who do you want to be? What do you want to do? Research how your going to get there. Then action that research.
So many of us are scared of being ‘unemployed’ because of the stigma attached and so we take anything given to us. I’m sure a high percentage of people are putting 100% of their efforts into work and not receiving 100% of what they’d like to see in return. Be courageous and make a decision of what you want then go for it.
Wealth doesn’t necessarily mean having all the money in the world, it means having all the experiences that you want to have in the world. Sometimes the reason why we lack confidence in making decisions is because we’re afraid of being wrong…but who cares if your wrong. You may get a few naysayers but at the end of the day you are being true to yourself, and that’s what really counts and that’s how we make ourselves rich with experience.
Decide who you want to be today, what you want to do…than do it! I’m supporting you here with passion!
